absol-utedisaster asked: I love your anatomical draws! Could you make one of lungs as well? ^^
I like that idea! I will certainly give it a go x
hellozaira asked: Hi! I am in awe of your drawings! a) how do you keep yourself motivated? b) what did you get to learn to draw?
I go through stages when i have lots of pieces on the go and ideas for more. What i have discovered is when you are motivated, start that drawing of that thing that is in your head, even if it means you have 7 pieces going on at once, that way when you do feel low on motivation you have a choice of what to go back to. But like anything, i don’t think it is good to force yourself to draw. I want to keep art as something i enjoy, so i do it for pleasure! If you want motivation to draw, i think tumblr is a great place to gather ideas and just inspire yourself, just find some blogs that interest you! I am self taught, if that is what you mean, if you want a ‘how to’ guide, many art stores and book shops will have tutorial books!
mind-of-a-sociopath asked: Would you be interested in designing a tattoo for me? I'm happy to give you some money if you want, and if you do end up selling any of you're work make sure it's at least in the thousands. Contact a local gallery to get started. (I've worked for a gallery before and they could put you straight on the wall if you ask them to) Anyway, thank you for just putting this online. You're crazy talented.
Thanks, I’ll be sure to look into finding some local galleries! and you would have to give me some ideas on what you would like, if i were to design a tattoo for you
felicitousfred asked: Have you ever considered a career as either a forensic artist or scientific research artist? Your talents could prove very useful in victim/suspect identification of reconstruction and depiction of artifacts for archaeological or biological anthropology applications. (I have a degree in Anthropology and know of a ton of careers within those fields that would be amazing with your work)
I have not, but that really does interest me! Do you have any websites or suggestions where i could possibly find out some more information?
canthave-everything asked: Hey, you're insanely talented! Really envious. Starting my own Art blog soon. Thank you for the inspiration. Followed and sending some love, xo. Keep doing what you do, it's beyond fantastic. (:
Don’t be envious, everyone is different! Make sure you do, I’m so happy i decided to start my own and send me a link when you do! Thank you! xx
curiositycomplex asked: Before I even move on to looking at the rest of your work, your drawing of a skull popped up on the side of my dash, and I love it. And I think the iPod earphones and just everything about the photograph taken makes me like it even more! Hope you're happy and well! You're very talented.
Thanks, I’m glad you like it! I’m fine thank you, the same to you!
coniplin asked: Hi! your drawings are so beautiful, you have a great talent! Greetings from Chile :D
Hey! wow, thank you :)
rara-ann asked: Hi! I've just discovered your blog and you are amazing! Your art is some of my favorite by far. I actually had a question for you. I'm a graphic design major and I have an assignment coming up where I have to draw a self portrait. Any tips or advice you might have? I appreciate it. You're amazing!
Thank you very much! Self portraits are a great way to learn how to draw portraits, the best advice i can give you is not to work purely from photographs, set up a comfortable space with a mirror and an easel with your paper on it, this way you can also set up your own light source, perhaps from an anglepoise lamp or by a window, use this to your advantage, if you place your light source on one side you will find it easier to identify the rise and falls in your face and hopefully come out with a more interesting self portrait, but as a graphic design major I’m sure you will come out with something great. I don’t know how much experience you have with drawing portrait, but don’t be too critical with yourself, we all think we know how are faces look, but draw what you see, not what you think is there! But other than that just enjoy it, and I’d love to see what you come up with!
watercolours-art asked: Great, great works! I'm happy to find these kind of blogs on Tumblr ;)
Thank you kindly!
train-to-win asked: Hey! Your art is so stunning, I envy your talent! What sort of pens and pencils do you usually use? Is the skull drawing done with a pen or pencil? Also if you ever want to draw a horse and need one to draw I can help you out and provide pictures!:) anyways keep up the lovely work!xo
Thank you! I have written a list of my materials in my ‘about me’ section if you are curious. My pens are just basic ink biros from a super market or stationary store but i do sometimes use fine liners which you can purchase from most art stores! The skull drawing is done in pen, and i will be sure to have a look at your pictures, thank you xx
sirruraccoon asked: Amateur? Miss, your art is absolutely STUNNING! What could possibly be considered "amateur" about it? It's amazing! I am nearly at a loss of words for this! It's beautiful! I am quite envious! You must have gotten in a lot of practice! I hope your family is proud, as they should be, for you are absolutely amazing at art. And I bow before your work.
Yes, my family are very supportive, they do criticise me for not drawing enough actually! Thank you very much for your support, it means a lot! and art is all about practice, how will you know what you are capable of if you do not have a go?
chicks-dig-beards-and-tattoos asked: uhh hi! I'd actually love to say that I think your art is amazing and I think you're quite beautiful too :$ :)
aha, thank you for the compliments!
